We met Chase as a 7th grader and he quickly became one of the most determined kickers we have ever worked with.  His ambition, drive and humility are 2nd to none.  His dedication to getting better was realized in the playoffs of his Junior season, where he connected on 5 FGs and propelled him into the spotlight entering his senior year.  He emphatically laid the claim to Top Kicker in the area when he won Head to Head XI and consistently put balls in the back of the endzone his Senior season for Mater Dei, collecting multiple post season accolades including All County.

His dream was always to play for USC and when Coach Baxter called me to ask who we had... Chase was the answer.  He entered USC as a Walk on and quickly earned a scholarship.  His legendary status was cemented when he connected on game tying and game winning FGs against Texas in the Coliseum. During his Sophomore season he connected on a perfect 5/5 FGs in a game, but tore his ACL the fallowing week.  After recovering from injury, Chase came back to become an All League performer as a Junior.  Great story of redemption and determination.

Chase is an inspiration to everyone he has incountered, who comes across as a very mature and grateful for his opportunity to live out his dream.
